October 6th, 7pm, Amherst, NY Barnes and Noble. Launch night and Women of Mystery panel with WNY authors Beverly Allen, Alice Loweecey, and Sandra Block. A signing will follow the panel.

October 8th, 8am, Raleigh, NC (As part of Bouchercon) Author Speed Dating.

October 11th, 10am, Raleigh, NC (As part of Bouchercon) Panel: Why are some 'traditional mysteries' comfort reads? With Greg Lilly [Moderator] Jennifer Kincheloe, Carolyn Mulford, Rhys Bowen, and Beverly Allen. Panel is followed by a signing.

October 12th, Noon, Oakmont, PA Mystery Lovers Bookshop. Refreshments, talk, and signing with Beverly Allen and Alice Loweecey.

October 15th, 5:30pm, Buffalo, NY Larkin Square. Appearance with Beverly Allen, Sandra Block, and Alice Loweecey.

October 24th, 1pm, Dewitt Barnes and Noble (Syracuse, NY) Author signing with Beverly Allen and Alice Loweecey.

October 28th, 6pm, Borg-Warner Room, Tompkins County Public Library (Ithaca, NY area) Author Panel: Scare Tactics: creating villains, building suspense, springing surprises on the reader.

Barbara Early

earned an engineering degree, but after four years of doing nothing but math, developed a sudden allergy to the subject and decided to choose another occupation.

Before she settled on murdering fictional people, she was a secretary, a school teacher, a pastor’s wife, and an amateur puppeteer. After several years living elsewhere, she and her husband moved back to her native Western New York State, where she enjoys cooking, crafts, classic movies and campy seventies television, board games, and posting pictures of her four cats on Facebook.

She writes the Vintage Toyshop series and the Bridal Bouquet Shop Mysteries (as Beverly Allen).
