The long-awaited book news, and it's big! I'm happy to be joining the Murder, She Wrote team!

Let's all welcome BARBARA EARLY to the MURDER, SHE WROTE team! Hi I'm Terrie Moran and this is exciting news. Please join me in welcoming fantastic mystery writer, Barbara Early, author of the Vintage Toyshop series ( some of you also will know her as Beverly Allen, author of the Bridal Bouquet Shop series). Barbara and I have each signed contracts with Penguin Random House to individually write Murder, She Wrote books to be released in 2025 and 2026. Under my previous contract I have already submitted Murder, She Wrote, a Killer Christmas to be released in October 2024. Barbara is the author of Murder, She Wrote Snowy with a Chance of Murder, to be released in early 2025. Following that I am presently writing Murder, She Wrote A Body in Boston (name may be changed) to be released in the spring of 2025 and another to be released in the fall. We are each contracted to write one book to be released in 2026. Barbara and I are looking forward to any comments and questions you may have.

I look forward to reading your book next year. I have been reading the series and corresponding with the late Donald Bain and Terri. Would you be willing to autograph your MSW when I purchase it next year? Donald and Terri have signed some of the books for me. I look forward to writing you from time to time

I have been reading the Murder She Wrote books for years, and look forward to more! Please bring the character of George Sutherland back!! He has been sorely missed.

I have the whole series (maybe minus a book because I gave it to a friend who was going through cancer treatments). I am so excited that the series keeps on going!

I’m reading “Snowy With a Chance of Murder”. Excellent!!! I love the stories that take place in Cabot Cove. I’ve read every Muder She Wrote book written and this is one of my favorites! Long live Jessica Fletcher!!! Keep the books coming. You all are doing a tremendous job.

...earned an engineering degree, but after four years of doing nothing but math, developed a sudden allergy to the subject and decided to choose another occupation.

Before she settled on murdering fictional people, she was a secretary, a schoolteacher, a pastor’s wife, and an amateur puppeteer. She and her husband live in Western New York State, where she enjoys cooking, crafts, classic movies, campy vintage television, board games, and spending time with her two granddaughters.

Before teaming up with Jessica Fletcher, she wrote the Vintage Toyshop Mystery series and the Bridal Bouquet Shop Mysteries (as Beverly Allen).
